SlipCare® Primer for Outdoor Areas & Damp Rooms
After
multiple examinations and tests on all feasible surfaces concerning the
durability of our Anti-Slip-Coating, we have found out that tiles and
natural stone in outdoor areas can be infiltrated by dampness.
The consequences of a damp undersurface is that any type of coating applied
could first, become spotty and then, start to detach due to the infiltrating
dampness. This is a natural process, due to the fact that natural stone
absorbs water from below like a sponge. This rising water forms a separating
layer between the floor covering and the coating. Similarly with tiles, the
dampness rises directly in the joints, in the mortar or the concrete on
which they are attached and therefore also works in between the tile surface
and the SlipCare coating.
We have developed a primer/sealer especially for outdoor
tiles and natural stone, which prevents dampness, whether its condensation,
dampness in the concrete or dampness rising directly from the ground, from
penetrating the SlipCare primer/sealer that serves as the ultimate moisture
barrier. Once you have applied SlipCare® primer/sealer, the
surface dries quickly and the SlipCare antislip coating will completely
adhere to the prepared surface.
You can apply our SlipCare® primer/sealer on terraces, in the basement and in all other places where unwanted dampness or moisture occurs or as prevention underneath the tiles and natural stone, concrete and in all other permeable spots.
Our
SlipCare® primer/sealer is available in small kits of 3oz
complete with a mixing/roller tray, spatula and roller similar to our SlipCare® "STOP it" Kit or in larger sizes.
