The GIORGI chemical factory was founded in Karlsruhe, Germany in 1927.  

Back then, production focused on solid and liquid soaps, hand washing pastes, floor waxes and detergents with the same GIORGIN logo used today. 
Slipping accidents already occurred back then, which is why GIORGI stated developing anti-slip waxes, which were successfully applied until 1987. Then anti-slip emulsions and anti-slip coatings were added. Since then, GIORGI successfully treats all kinds of floors throughout Europe, which could become a hazard for people and animals in connection with slip and fall agents caused by water, oils, fats, grease, etc.
